We provide a fully integrated electricity network management service which includes planning, design, delivery and operation.
Joining our Works Planning team, reporting to the Works Planning Supervisor, you will support the reliable, efficient and safe operation of our distribution network by providing specialised technical advice, and structured planning for the construction and maintenance of our assets.
You will provide conceptual and detailed design solutions for electricity supply infrastructure, structured planning support, and technical guidance within the WEL Services group. You will support the effective use of technical information, liaising and engaging with a variety of stakeholders including field staff, customers and wider team members.
Skills & Experience
An appropriate technical qualification – electrical trade qualification, NZCE equivalent, or equivalent experience
Five years’ experience in the distribution network environment – knowledge of the WEL distribution network would be an advantage
